What Is Tendinopathy?

Tendinopathy is the inflammation of a tendon, the thick, fibrous tissue that connects muscles to bones. This condition commonly results from repetitive movements, overuse, or sudden increases in physical activity. It causes pain, tenderness, and swelling around the affected joint.
