This document outlines the Terms and Conditions for both the use of our website and the services provided at our physical clinic. Specific terms may apply depending on whether you are interacting with us online or in-person. Please read carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

General

This website (the “Site”) is owned and run by Al Amal Physical Therapy Center (“COMPANY,” “Clinic”, “We” or “Us”).

By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions or Terms of Service that follow and to use the Site in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific sections of the Site or to products and services available through the Site or from COMPANY.

Accessing the Site in any manner, whether automated or otherwise, constitutes use of the Site and your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions or Terms of Service.

Interpretation and Definitions in the Terms and Conditions or Terms of Use

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Terms and Conditions:
Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with a party, where “control” means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.
Client means the person who will benefit from our services.
Company (referred to as either “Company”, “Clinic”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Al Amal Physical Therapy Center.
Country refers to Egypt.
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Service refers to the Website.
Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
Terms and Conditions the terms “Terms and Conditions,” “Terms of Use,” “Terms,” and “Terms of Service” are all synonymous.
Third-party Social Media Service refers to any website or any social network website through which a User can log in or create an account to use the Service.
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Services Provided

We offer specialized physical therapy services to patients, including but not limited to:

  • Manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
  • Electrotherapy and ultrasound therapy.
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation.
  • Pain management and mobility enhancement.
  • Personalized treatment plans based on professional assessment.
  • All services are provided by licensed and qualified physical therapists in compliance with Egyptian healthcare laws and regulations. The scope of services is limited to non-invasive procedures and does not include medical diagnoses or prescription of medication.

Online Telehealth Services

We provide telehealth services to extend our care to patients remotely. By using our telehealth services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Telehealth consultations are conducted via secure platforms to protect your privacy.
  • Telehealth does not replace in-person medical assessments when required.
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date medical information during telehealth sessions.
  • Any recommendations or advice provided during telehealth sessions are based on the information you supply.

Eligibility Criteria

Patients seeking physical therapy services at the Company must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be 18 years or older or have parental/guardian consent if underage.
  • Provide accurate and truthful medical history during consultations.
  • All bookings or services require a valid referral prescription from a physician, which must be submitted before receiving any service.
  • Follow the treatment plan and instructions provided by the physical therapist.
  • Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment during sessions.
  • Disclose any contraindications or pre-existing conditions that may affect treatment.
  • The clinic reserves the right to refuse services if these criteria are not met or if the patient is deemed unsuitable for treatment based on professional assessment.

Appointments and Booking Policy

Booking: Appointments can be booked via phone, WhatsApp, email, or in person at the clinic’s reception. Advance booking is recommended to secure preferred time slots. Appointments are booked by paying the service value in advance.
Confirmation: Appointments are considered confirmed only upon receiving a confirmation WhatsApp message, email, SMS, or verbal acknowledgment from the clinic.
Attendance on Time: Please arrive at the specified time. Delaying the appointment may result in a reduction in the duration of the session without deduction from the fees.
Late Arrivals: Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule, subject to therapist availability. Lateness and no-show are considered as receiving the service exactly except for an apology of at least 24 hours or force majeure (based on the clinic’s discretion).
No-Show Policy: Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will be recorded as a no-show, and fees may apply as per the cancellation policy.

Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, credit/debit cards, InstaPay, bank transfer, and other accepted electronic payment methods.
Payment and Insurance: For insurance, payments for services will be processed directly through the insurer. Clients must provide valid insurance details for verification, and therapy sessions will be covered based on the insurer’s terms. Clients are responsible for any amounts not covered by their insurance, including booking in advance, co-payments or additional sessions beyond the approved limit.
Packages: A single package includes 6 or 12 sessions. Unused sessions are non-refundable and cannot be carried over to future packages.
Package Validity: Packages must be completed within 2 months of the first session. Failure to attend scheduled sessions or respond to clinic communication within 30 days will result in forfeiture of unused sessions, with no refunds or extensions granted.
Timing: Payments for individual sessions are due at the time of the appointment. Package plans must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed.
Non-Payment: Services will not be provided without full payment.
Taxes: All applicable taxes, as per Egyptian law, are included in the fees unless stated otherwise.
Invoices: Receipts and invoices are available upon request. Invoices and/or medical reports will be issued within 48 working hours.
Please note that once an electronic tax invoice is issued at the client’s request, a refund will no longer be possible.

Refund Policy

At the Company, we are committed to providing high-quality physical therapy services and ensuring patient satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for services rendered at our physical clinic/s. By availing of our services, patients agree to the terms set forth below:

  1. Non-Refundable Services
    Services that have already been rendered are non-refundable, as the expertise, time, and resources involved are non-recoverable.
    Prepaid packages or sessions that have been partially used will not be eligible for a refund for the completed sessions.
    Any consumables, expenses, or administrative fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.
  2. Refund Eligibility
    Refunds may only be considered under the following circumstances:
    Overpayment or Double Payment: If a patient accidentally makes an excess or duplicate payment, the surplus amount will be refunded upon request.
    Service Cancellations by the Clinic: If the clinic cancels a scheduled session for reasons beyond the patient’s control and the patient does not wish to reschedule, a refund for the canceled session will be issued.
    Unsuitable Medical Condition: If, after an initial consultation, it is determined that the patient is not a suitable candidate for the planned treatment and no services have been rendered.
  3. Refund Requests
    To request a refund, patients must:
    Submit a written request within 14 days of the payment date, providing proof of payment and a detailed explanation of the reason for the refund.
    Send the request via email to our mail or submit it in person at the clinic’s reception desk.
  4. Processing of Refunds
    Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving a valid refund request.
    Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. For cash payments, refunds will be provided in cash or as credit toward future sessions, at the patient’s choice.
    If a refund is issued, the used sessions will be charged at their original price.
  5. No Refunds for Missed Appointments
    Appointments missed without prior notice or cancellation within the clinic’s cancellation policy timeframe will not be eligible for refunds.
    Patients are advised to review the clinic’s Cancellation Policy for further details.
  6. Exceptions
    The clinic reserves the right to review and make exceptions to this policy at its discretion in cases of extenuating circumstances, such as emergencies or unavoidable situations.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

To cancel or reschedule, contact us personally, phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email.
Cancellation Notice: Patients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid charges.
Rescheduling: Appointments can be rescheduled subject to therapist availability, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given.
Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time may incur a charge of up to 100% of the session fee.
For insurance, the client may still be liable for charges as determined by the insurer. If the insurer refuses to cover the session due to non-attendance or cancellation, the client may be required to pay for the session.
Emergency Exceptions: The clinic may waive cancellation fees in cases of emergencies or unavoidable circumstances, at its discretion.

Patient Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete medical history and treatment-related information.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments.
  • Follow the physical therapist’s instructions and treatment plans.
  • Notify the clinic immediately of any changes to medical conditions or health status.
  • Respect the clinic’s staff, facilities, and other patients.
  • Failure to adhere to these responsibilities may result in termination of services.

Code of Conduct

  • Respect for Staff: Patients and visitors must treat all clinic staff with respect and courtesy. Abusive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Facility Use: Patients must use the clinic’s facilities responsibly and avoid causing damage or disruption.
  • Compliance: Patients must comply with all instructions, policies, and safety protocols established by the clinic.
  • Zero Tolerance: The clinic enforces a zero-tolerance policy for violence, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.
  • The clinic reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the treatment relationship for violations of this Code of Conduct.

Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this Site including but not limited to written content, images, graphics, videos, audio files, software code, and any other original creations displayed or distributed on this website is owned by the COMPANY and/or our affiliates or licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Site is provided solely for your personal noncommercial use.

You may not use the Site or the materials available on the Site in a manner that constitutes an infringement of our rights or that has not been authorized by us. More specifically, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, translate, sell, create derivative works, exploit, or distribute in any manner or medium (including by email or other electronic means) any material from the Site without prior permission.
